Araw ng Buntis
Last March 10, expectant mothers from the various hospitals were invited to participate in Araw ng Buntis at the Makati Coliseum.
Booths were set up where mothers could avail of prenatal consults and free multivitamin samples from sponsors, and pre-registered participants were able to avail of ultrasound scans.
Lay fora were also given to educate mothers on maternal nutrition, prenatal check up, 10 danger signs of pregnancy, and on lactation and breastfeeding.
A highlight of the day is the Miss Buntis pageant, wherein the participants showcased their beauty and brains.
